Founded in 2000 by Keith and Barb Luck, Mulch Makers was built on a simple vision: recycling and repurposing materials generated through Barberton Tree Service into high-quality landscaping products for the local community.

What began as a small operation has grown into a trusted supplier serving homeowners, garden centers, and landscaping companies throughout the region.

Over the years, we have expanded both our team and our product offerings. During the season, our company employs 15–20 dedicated team members, many of whom have been part of the Mulch Makers and Barberton Tree Service family for more than 15 years. Their experience, commitment, and hard work are the foundation of our success and the reason we proudly refer to them as our “Mulch Family.”

Relocating to our current facility on Clark Mill Road allowed us to continue growing and better serve our customers. Today, we proudly produce a wide selection of landscaping materials, including hardwood and bark mulches, colored mulches, premium topsoil, and compost.
